BimaAdvisor.in (“we”, “us”) is the website of independent insurance advisors. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

• Enquiry / callback form: name, mobile number, optional email, city, PIN code, the plan you are interested in, preferred call time and the advisor you chose.
• Appointment form: name, mobile number, preferred date, time and meeting type.
• Join as advisor form: name, mobile, optional email, age, qualification, city, PIN code, occupation, preferred stream, sales experience and callback time.

Forms are submitted only after you tick the consent box. Calculators (premium, tax, coverage) run in your browser; the numbers you enter there are not sent to us.

Information collected automatically

• Security data: with each form submission we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and your browser type, used only to prevent spam and abuse.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand which pages are visited. Google may set cookies and process your IP address under its own privacy policy.
• Policy reminders tool: reminders you add are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us.

How we use your information

• To call or message you about your enquiry, appointment or application, as you requested.
• To assign your enquiry to the right advisor and keep a record of follow-ups.
• To protect the website against spam and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the advisor handling your request and, when you decide to buy a policy, with the insurance company concerned for that purpose.

Storage and security

Information is stored in a database on our web hosting provider’s servers in a password-protected administration area that only authorised staff can access. Access is logged.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to handle your request and related follow-ups, and as required by law. [Retention period to be confirmed.]

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you submitted, or withdraw your consent to be contacted, by contacting us below. Withdrawing consent does not affect contact already made.
